Peter Goff Obituary

Peter B. Goff, 96, died on April 5, 2022, at his home in Campton, N.H.

Peter was born June 22, 1925, in West Barrington, R.I. to Harriet and Russell E. Goff.

Peter could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He worked for many years at the mill in Ashland, N.H. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and reader, including the whole Encyclopedia Britannica.

He was able to master computers in his senior years. He loved hunting and fishing with his dog by his side. He also enjoyed carving and painting animals and birds. His hobby and interests included gardening.

He lived in Campton since the late 1940s with his parents, Harriet and Russell Goff, and his sister Marjorie Goff until his death.

He was predeceased by his sister Marjorie and his brother Russell. Burial will be at the family plot in Providence, R.I. Peter is survived by his two nieces, Patricia M. Ladd of Abbot Maine and Susan T. Goff of Concord, N.H.

At his request, no service will be held.

Donations in Peter's name may be made to the Lakes Region Visiting Nurse Association in Meredith, NH.

We´d seen and spoken to Peter over the years while camping in Campton Campgrounds. He was affectionately known to our family as "the Beagle Meister". My father and I would always drive by the house and wave or say hi when we crossed paths. Rest easy Peter.
