Peter LeMay Obituary

METHUEN, Mass. -- Peter D. LeMay, 54, formerly of Manchester, N.H., died Aug. 8, 2008, at home, after a brief illness.

He was born in Manchester, Oct. 15, 1953, to Guy L. and Martha Agnes (Charpentier) LeMay. He was raised in Manchester and was educated in local schools.

He was a skilled tradesman who worked with plaster and cement. A former member of the Laborer's International Union of North America in New Hampshire, he was a more recent member of Boston Plasterers & Cement Masons Local 534. He was currently employed by American Concrete in Marshfield.

He was a hard-working husband and father who always provided for his family. He enjoyed reading, current events and ice fishing.

A memorable family moment occurred when he once took his daughter, Cherie, to the fishing derby on Lake Winnipesaukee and she won second place. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Family members include his wife of 18 years, Patricia M. (Diodati) LeMay of Methuen; one daughter, Cherie M. LeMay of Methuen; two sons, Michael Diodati of Derry, and William Veilleux of Methuen; three brothers, Michael Lemay of Homer, Alaska, Charles LeMay of Surprise, Ariz., and Victor LeMay of Nashua, N.H.; three sisters, Suzanne LeMay of Dustin, Fla., Marie Gagnon of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jeanie Hanczarek of North Conway, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
