Rachel Dion Obituary
Rachel loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed camping, playing cards, and hosting family gatherings, especially at Christmas. She loved to cook for her family gatherings, cross stitching, going for walks, especially by the ocean, and watching the Patriots play football.
Rachel was married to the love of her life, Wilbrod E. Dion, for over 50 years and the two made many memories until his passing in 2020.
Rachel is survived by her three sons; Michael R. Dion, Marcel R. Dion and Christopher M. Dion; two grandchildren, Gregory Dion and Theresa Dion-Dowdle and many loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her husband Wilbrod and brother, Raymond L'Heureux, who passed away in late 2023.
A visitation for Rachel will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Peter Parish, 567 Manchester Rd, Auburn, NH 03032, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM. A committal and inurnment will occur Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Rachel's memory at https://act.alz.org/site/Donation.
