MANCHESTER -- Raymond L. Beaudet, 57, died Sept. 26, 2009, at Elliot Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born Dec. 19, 1951, in Manchester, to Lionel and Leonnette (Langlois) Beaudet. He was educated in local schools and was employed for many years as an assembler for several different companies, the last being Harvey Industries. He had a love for animals and enjoyed raising birds. In his younger years, he could be found working on different kinds of cars but his passion was for fixing race cars.
IN HIS LIFE: Members of his family include his father, Lionel Beaudet of Manchester; a daughter, Debbie Beaudet of Manchester; a brother, Roger Beaudet and his wife, Liliana, of Manchester; two sisters, Suzanne Doucet and her husband, Donald, of Portsmouth, R.I. and Elaine McShane and her husband, Thomas, of Manchester; a longtime friend, JoAnn Gagne; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother, Leonnette Beaudet, in 1986; and a brother, Richard Beaudet, in 1969.
SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 10 at St. Anthony Church in Manchester. Burial will follow at St. Augustin Cemetery in Manchester.
Memorial donations may be made to Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester 03102.
