Richard Bouchard Obituary

Richard Bouchard died peacefully on December 7, 2025. Born in Berlin on June 13, 1929, he was the son of the late Lucien and Bertha Bouchard. He was a US Navy veteran and was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic by the local paper mill until his retirement, then for Berlin City Ford as a driver. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the F. O. E. and the American Legion. Richard was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing softball with the mill league for many years.

He is survived by his children Pamela Bouchard, Ramona Devlin, Roxanne Dodge, Angela Carignan, Bradley Bouchard, and Marisa Hikel. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara, son Steven, infant son Joseph, and siblings Normand, Gloria, and Anita.

A funeral mass will be held on December 12 at 10am at St. Anne Church, Berlin, with interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on December 11 from 1-3pm & 6-8pm at the Bryant Funeral Home, Berlin. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
