NASHUA -- Rita Leola Waters, 86, died Nov. 2, 2008, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
She was born May 12, 1922, in Epping, to Ernest and Georgianna (St. Laurent) Belisle.
She grew up in Epping and was a graduate of Epping High School and Laconia School of Nursing. She began her career as an x-ray technician and later became a nurse working for Waltham Hospital. She retired from Middlesex County Hospital as a chief nursing supervisor.
She lived several years in Nashua, and previously in Epping, Laconia, Waltham, Mass., and Florida for 25 years.
She was a former communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers in Florida.
She enjoyed many activities.
She was predeceased by two husbands, Walter Rollo, in 1974, and Harry Waters, in 1981.
IN HER LIFE: She is survived by her children and their partners, son, Richard Rollo and Cyndi Morse of Townsend, Mass., daughter, Linda DeCecca of Nashua, daughter Janice Rollo and Bill Bovill of N. Chelmsford, Mass., daughter, Luane and Jeff Smith of Nashua, and son, Michael and Pam Rollo of Manchester; 10 grandchildren, Julie, Jennifer, Robbie, Brian, Jimmy, Justin, Anthony, Paul, Eric and Christopher; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Couture of Florida, and Marcia Jean and companion, Sandy Ebinger, of Florida; a nephew, John Langlois and a niece, Donna Demers; and a loving aunt, Jean Morrissette.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 208 Pleasant St., Epping. The Rev. Agapit Jean will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping.
