Robert Battis Obituary
Robert is survived by his loving wife Margaret Battis, daughter Stacey Battis, son Matthew Battis, siblings Bruce Battis and his wife Mary, Larry Battis and his wife Lynn, Carol Salwey, Bette Worden and her husband Wayne, John Battis and his wife Vivian, and many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his twin brother Richard S. Battis.
Family and friends are invited to Robert's calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory of Lebanon, NH on Friday, May 14th from 1-3:00 PM and again from 5-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 25 at 11 AM at the La Salette Chapel of Enfield, NH. Committal prayers will be held Saturday, June 26 at 11 AM at the Canaan Street Cemetery in Canaan, NH.

I'm sorry for the families loss. I had the honor of working directly with Bob for 12 years at EFI|VUTEk in Manufacturing Engineering along with Todd, Kevin, Jim & Mark. Knowing him at least a little - He's upstairs making things better in ways we cannot understand. The world misses him greatly - I miss knowing that he was always there for anyone.

Robert, just like your Dad, you would just show up on Saturday or Sunday mornings to say hi, or help with a building project that was in the works at the time. Most recently, you lended countless hours on the construction of Larry's workshop last spring and summer, for which we will be forever grateful. We will miss your smiling face and caring attitude. Hope you and Richard are having a hell of a time being back together, and with Mom and Dad! Love, Lynn and Larry

I worked closely with Bob for the last 5 years. I enjoyed very much knowing and having Bob in the team. Bob had one of the strongest work ethics I have seen in a very long time. Often times would have to kick him out of the building only to find he went home and continued to work on the various projects. He will be someone we all at LSI will miss, his easy going nature and sense of humor coupled with his strong technical knowledge were seen by all he worked with. Rest Easy Bob

Bob and I were coworkers. He was always very easy-going, cooperative and considerate and meticulous in his work. Many of our suppliers with whom Bob and I worked are greatly saddened to hear of his passing.

My big brother Robert was a wonderful man with a big heart. He was always there for me and protected me from what can be a cruel world to a child growing up. You certainly made my life interesting and fun and I will miss you dearly. You taught me to ride a bike, saved me from drowning, and made family gatherings so very much fun.
