Robert Laiweneek Obituary
He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., the son of Robert and Joan (Roberts) Laiweneek Sr. Bobby grew up in the Newfound area, attended local schools and graduated from Newfound Memorial High School. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne, starting with the Green Beret and advancing to Red Beret. He was a decorated veteran having served for 28 years and retiring at the rank of sergeant first class.
He was a member of the Combat Veterans and the Disabled American Veterans.
Bobby was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, tying flies, and flying remote-controlled helicopters. He was a master chef at the barbeque, and loved to entertain for family and friends.
Family members include his wife, Wendy (Mills) Laiweneek of Bristol; father, Robert F. Laiweneek Sr. of New Hampton; two sons: Robert F. Laiweneek III of Lincolnton, N.C., Benjamin S. Laiweneek of Lincolnton, N.C.; a daughter, Cassandra F. Laiweneek of Bristol; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Kenneth Gaudet of New Hampton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Brendan and Sandra Whittington-Boone, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

services: Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Emmons Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be private. Friends and Family may join with us at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen for burial with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association, 1275 K St., NW Suite 250, Washington, DC, 20005.
