Rommy LaBranche Obituary
Rommy was born in Exeter, NH on March 21st, 1964, the daughter to the proud parents Ronald LaBranche and Marianne Garland. Rommy lived her childhood in Newmarket and Wakefield, NH, graduating from Spaulding High School, Class of 1981, in Rochester, NH.
Seeking adventure, she moved to Florida, working the bars and restaurants along Florida's west coast. She eventually rose to a managerial position for Holiday Inn Tampa. It was there that she decided to plant roots and purchased her first home. Eventually tiring of the never ending demands of her corporate position, she stepped away to better focus on her own interests and returned to her favorite employment as a bartender. This also gave her the opportunity to attend college at Saint Petersburg where she graduated in business with her CPA. With that knowledge she formed her own business and began to aquire rental properties.
It was at this time that she met her future husband Carl, and together they built upon and expanded her property holdings. They soon married, and on September 17th, 2000 they too became the proud parents of their very own baby girl, Krista Marianne Herron.
As her daughter grew, she displayed the same interest in horses and riding that Rommy herself enjoyed as a youth. Realizing how much she missed being around horses and the woods, she and her family decided to pick up roots and purchased a small horse ranch in Citrus County, Florida.
It was there that Rommy lived out the remaining portion of her life. Surrounded by her Family and her horses.
Rommy is, and will be, unbearably missed by her Family.
Rommy is survived by her husband Carl Lynn Herron and daughter Krista Marianne Herron of Inverness, FL, her mother Marianne Garland and husband Robert of Newmarket, NH, her father Ronald LaBranche and wife Judy of Tuftonboro, NH, her uncle Lenny LaBranche and wife Beth of Leesburg, FL, and her best friend and caregiver Leslie Bickerton of Groveland, FL.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Road (Route 108) Newmarket, NH.

My dear cousin Rommy I was so sad to hear about your illness and that you didn't make it through the fight. We last saw each other in 1991, in Denmark, for our grandmother's birthday. I was younger than you, I looked up to you a lot, it was exciting that you came all the way from the USA. To Karl and Krista my deepest condolences i use to live at your property at 1011 14th st north st petersburg i was looking up Rommy to inquire about rentals only to find out she had passed away she was a kind and thoughtful woman indeed and one of my best landlords. Oh Rommy. I haven't seen you since our fun summer in York when we were teens. I was laying on the beach with no place to go and you said Hey I need a roommate! think about you all the time and my heart is broken. RIP my dear friend.
