Ronald Lacourse Obituary

Ronald J. Lacourse, 76 of Manchester, passed away on October 29, 2025, from a brief illness. He was the son of the late Alfred and Theresa (Houle) Lacourse, born on April 22, 1949.

The best way to describe Ron is to say that he was a distinct individual, authentic, curious, honest and lovable.

Ron's childhood summers were spent in Canada working on his uncle's dairy farm with his cousin. It remained a place he loved and held dearly, visiting throughout his adulthood.

Ron was a big sports fan who loved his Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins. Ron was also an avid NASCAR fan, but he mostly enjoyed going fishing and hunting with his dad. Ron also found joy in life's simple pleasures, horseshoes, cards games.

Known for his gift of gab yet unknown as a talented sketch artist. Ron had a soft spot for animals, most especially for his beloved Golden Retriever Isaac, and a few cats along the way.

Ron will be remembered as a kind sole with a heart of gold, as will his faithful friend and confidant, Diane (Dolbec) Coutu, who took care of him and remained by his side until the end, thank you.

Ron leaves behind his sister, Claudette Mitchell and husband Robert of Waycross, Georgia: two nephews, six grandnieces, and one great grandniece.

At Ron's request, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to an Animal Rescue League of your choice.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nursing staff at Home Health & Hospice Care, Merrimack, N.H., for their unwavering care and support during the final days of Ron' life.
