Ronald Ouellette Obituary

Ronald Armand Ouellette, 76, of Weare, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021.

Ronald was born in Manchester, NH, December 11, 1944, to Armand and Rachel (Methot) Ouellette. He attended West High School and served with the US Army National Guard. Affectionately known as Ron or Ronnie, he was a 3rd generation entrepreneur having owned and operated his construction company for more than 35 years. His business was built and sustained by a well-earned, word-of-mouth reputation for quality craftsmanship.

Ron had a deep love of family and an unwavering commitment to providing for his four children and adoring wife of 56 years, Judy (Bergeron) Ouellette. Together, they built a home and a life while raising Michele, Karin, Nicole, and Richard on the West Side of Manchester next door to his parents. Ron volunteered to coach soccer and softball, help with Cub Scouts, as well as enjoyed being part of the St. John the Baptist Parish - especially during the annual Jean-O-Rama community fundraiser.

Ron loved spending summers in Old Orchard Beach, ME, and winters in Cape Canaveral, FL. He perfected his love/hate relationship with golf as a member of the Derryfield Country Club, enjoyed fishing, and stayed young by always working with his hands and mind - making furniture, shooting pool, and working on projects, both in and outdoors. Ron had a great sense of humor and delighted in telling jokes and stories that made others laugh. While being the primary caretaker for his wife, who was challenged with Dementia, Ron authored two books that told of the many retirement adventures they experienced with their pet, Cow.

Ron was an old-fashion generous man throughout life, and beyond. Unbeknownst to his family, Ron had become an organ donor. His donation will be used in reconstructive surgery for breast cancer survivors, an issue very near to the heart of his family.

Ronald is survived by three daughters, Michele Silva, and her husband Todd of Weare along with their children Jillian and Jake; Karin Carson and her husband John of Weare; Nicole Rheault of Goffstown along with her two sons, Riley and Remy, as well as his son, Richard Ouellette and his wife Danielle of Durham along with their sons, Brody and Parker.

Friends and family are invited to remember and honor Ron on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium located at 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A graveside service will follow immediately at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Goffstown Road in Manchester.

Please note that all guests are respectfully requested to wear face coverings inside the funeral home regardless of vaccination status.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the The Alzheimer's Association via https://www.alz.org/manh. To view an Online Tribute, send condolences to the family, or for more information, visit www.phaneuf.net.
