I had the pleasure of meeting Roxanne a year ago at Thanksgiving dinner when she welcomed me and my friend from Niger, West Africa. I was shocked to learn, over the summer, she had cancer and then, of course, that she was gone. Kristen and Joshua, I don't really know you but I know the loss is great. Your mother was a remarkable woman who had a way with children! I wish I could have known her better. Debba (Niamey, Niger, West Africa)

Roxanne was one of those unique individuals that you get to know, however briefly, and feel blessed to have encountered along life's journey. She always had something encouraging to say and took the time to listen without judgement. I was lucky to know her and to have her as a friend and miss her very much. My condolences to her family and friends.
