Ruby Witham Obituary
Ruby is survived by her husband of 54 years, George W. (Sunny) Witham; her two children, Roberta (Shepard) Emmons and husband Eric of Epsom, Glenn and Susan Shepard of McDonough, Ga.; her four grandchildren, Olivia and Alex Bourque, and Evan and Logan Witham; her siblings, Gerard Shepard and Linda (Shepard) Lizotte and husband Larry; her many nieces and nephews, though she shared a closeness with her nieces Melanie Shepard and Robin Blake; her lifelong best friend, Sylvia Doucette, and her well-loved Boston terriers, Max and Mitz.

Lifting up the family for comfort and peace. Ruby was indeed one of a kind and how fortunate for us that Deerfield was her home! She created the most beautiful hairdo for my wedding, and I will never forget the many memories at the little league games watching my brother and Glenn play. Too little space to capture the beautiful woman who was taken too soon.

Mom before your passing I doubted I could imagine a world without you in it. We will only be separated for a time. I could not ask for a better mother and role model. You prepared us well and lead by example. I was proud of you and to be your daughter. I love you mom and came to realize you couldn't fight forever ...(though you tried!) Your spirit and drive is alive in us and we will draw on it. Will meet you in the garden next to the blue morning glories...all my love.
