GOFFSTOWN -- Ruth E. Finnegan, 82, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
She was born in Arlington, Mass., to Thomas E. Mansfield and Elizabeth (Watt) Mansfield and lived in Lexington, Mass., and Billerica, Mass., before moving to Manchester.
She was a member of the Billerica Irish American Club and the Billerica Emblem Club.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred D. Bennett and Joseph Finnegan.
Family includes three daughters, Diane Beaubien of Chelmsford, Mass., Deborah Dollar of Leominster, Mass., and Donna Bennett Johnson of Goffstown; her brother, William Mansfield of Florida; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: Visiting hours are today from 2 to 5 p.m. A funeral is Monday at 9 a.m. from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Road, Billerica. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Billerica at 10 a.m. Burial is in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.

To all of Ruthie's Family;
I just heard of your sad news. I will always remember her playing bingo on Thursday's at the Elks as I called the numbers. I will also remember her & Joe dancing up a storm at Elks functions. I am glad they are now together for that is how everyone thinks of them.
