Hasn´t gotten any easier losing my first born son, Steven, who left us so suddenly, 3yrs ago on the 31st of August. You so engulfed us with your strong personality and your success in everything you touched. I will never get over losing one if my beautiful sons. I know you brought a smile to Jesus already. Your grand girls are beautiful and bring smiles to help the deep loss. Rest my son, you did so much and brought so much good . Love you and so deeply miss youMy son.

What can I say about my first born that already has been said at the Wake and Funeral. The key connection to all is, he was very special to all walks of life. A teacher he was. He extracted the best qualities and made you use them. Even at a young age Steve had a deep side, and handled any given situation with respect and wisdom. Taught him to , “Think before you do!, and “Treat others as you want to be treated.!” Love God, Your Flag and your Country. He did this snd more. The seeds grew to flower and gather more flowers. Growing up he had fun as many friends will attest to, but within limits. He was a gatherer, a teacher, son, husband, father, friend and did all these things well! He covered all bases. Good memories of a good person has touched us all deeply. We are the lucky ones. We touched some part of his life which made us all better people. Rest well my son, God has plans for you. Will love you eternally forever.

I first met Steve when I had to take my hunter safety class... he was so knowledgeable in everything he taught and had a true passion for the outdoors. Hunting, and fishing were two of his favorite things to talk to me about. I used to go to Bass Pro to speak to him about anything I had questions on. Steve got me into hunting and shooting guns. I am forever grateful to have gotten close to him as I grew up... I will miss all the conversations and laughs with you... My thoughts and prayers go to your loved ones! Gone too soon... but never forgotten! Rest Easy Captain Tower!

So I was no Saint, still not. Captain Tower was a mentor as I came up. He is a good guy and gave me a chance. Created my career as a Public Servant. Rest easy Steve, Sir. Thank you for the gifts you shared and gave me, and so many others. May your family get some solace in knowing how many lives you touched.
