Stuart Page Obituary

HAMPTON FALLS - Stuart Faulkner Page, 92, of Hampton Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Portsmouth Hospital.

Born on July 1, 1926 in Jacksonville, VT, Stuart was the son of the late Stanley and Pearl (Faulkner) Page.

Stuart served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a Flight Engineer and Fighter Mechanic and was stationed in Japan during the occupation.

On June 19, 1948, after his return from the war, Stuart married Joan Streeter and then graduated from Wentworth Institute in 1949 with a focus in tool design. He spent his early career with Warren Brothers working in road construction, a vocation that took him to upstate New York where his two sons, Thomas and James, were born. A later move brought his family to Vermont to the old Page homestead where he worked and sold maple products and worked as a photographer. Stuart's only daughter Ellen (Page) Pond was born in Vermont just before a move to the Boston area. Stuart also worked as a salesman in steel fabrication and in real estate.

Stuart leaves Joan, his wife of 70 years, his sons Thomas and his wife Elisa of Whitehall, MD and James and his wife Donna of Fairdealing, MO and his daughter Ellen Pond and her husband Neal of Hampton Falls.

Stuart also leaves his 6 grandchildren: Sarah, Stuart, Jonathan, Gregory, Benjamin, and Emily, and their spouses, and 4 great-grandchildren with 3 others on the way.

SERVICES: Services were held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Hampton Falls First Baptist Church with Rev. James Page presiding.
