Thelma (Epstein) Fishman of Portsmouth, NH, formerly of FL, died on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.
Loving mother of Gayle R. Sanders and her husband Jack of Stratham, NH, and Alan R. Fishman and his wife Phyllis of Littleton, CO. Adored grandmother of Melissa Jill Reffel and her husband John Reffel III, Jessica Lyn Fishman, Rachel Carson Winokur and Dr. Rebecca Chloe Winokur Brown and her husband Chris Brown. Great grandmother of Chase Brown and Sabrina Reffel. Dear sister of Phyllis Spiegel of Stoughton and the late Leftie "Sonny" Epstein. Former wife of the late Samuel L. Fishman.
Services at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Thursday, July 10 at 9:00 AM. Memorial observance will be private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445 or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 N. Main St., Suite 104, Natick, MA 01760.

Dear Gayle, Please accept my heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your beloved Mother..Memories are all we have left when a loved one leaves us and I know you and your family have many of them to sustain you at this time. I personally loved knowing her, not long, but it was my pleasure.
