William Allen Obituary
He graduated from General H.H. Arnold High School in Weisbaden, Germany and Saint Anselm College. Member of the Raphael Club, former commissioner of Manchester Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Commission, former chairman and inductee of the Queen City Athletic Hall of Fame, and former member of the East Manchester Fish & Game Club.
Co-founder and President of Adjusting Associates, Inc., an independent insurance adjusting company in Manchester. Known affectionately by his friends as "Hooper", he enjoyed golf, spending time with his family in York, Maine, and watching sporting events of all kinds.
A celebration of Bill's life will take place at the Puritan Conference & Event Center, Suite B/C, 245 Hooksett Road, Manchester, NH, on May 25, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
The Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH is in charge of the arrangements.

Kathy and I are deeply sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Our heartfelt sympathies for Julie and the family. We developed a special bond with Bill while together at York Beach. Golf, the annual cottage crawl, and our common goal for town services brought us close together. He will be missed.

Bill was the best neighbor we've ever had. When we moved back to Manchester, he was right there welcoming us to the neighborhood and filled us in on all the "scoop." Through the last 13 years, he helped in so many ways. Anything that needed to be done...Bill knew someone and was always willing to connect you with them. His humor and presence will be greatly missed.

My families' deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Julie, David and Sarah and Bill's family. Bill was a true friend and gave so much back to Manchester and the community. I wish there was some magic to make things better for you all and for us. Bill always saw things that were needed and took the time and effort to get things done as with the Queen City hall of Fame and all his great work on the Parks and Rec commission. Then there was all that fun with Bill and the golf league. He is and was one of the good people put here on earth.
