William F. Celen

Goffstown - William Frank Celen, 79, died April 16, 2014, following a period of declining health.Born in Manchester, he resided in Goffstown for 54 years. He was the son of William and Dorothy (Duncan) Celen.Mr. Celen was the owner and operator of Hamel Auto Body of Manchester. An outdoorsman and sportsman, Mr. Celen loved all types of fishing and always reeled in the biggest catch on the boat. He was also an enthusiastic gardener whose labors were appreciated by the deer and turkeys that frequented his yard. He was a longtime member of Pointer Fish and Game Club.A veteran of the Korean War he served with the U.S. Navy on the USS Skywatcher YAGR-3.Mr. Celen was predeceased by Jane (Moxcey), his wife of 54 years.Members of his family include his two sons and their wives, Jon W. and Susan Celen of Merrimack and James Clyde and Vicki Celen of San Diego; his sister, Judith Barrett of Manchester; his uncle, John Milne of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
