William Coy Obituary

Bill R. Coy, 75, passed away on May 21, 2024, in Ossipee, New Hampshire. He was born on June 18, 1948, in Lynn, Massachusetts, the son of Burton and Evelyn Coy. He was born and raised in Lynnfield Massachusetts, lived in Colorado for many years, and settled down in Brookfield, NH.

Bill lived a full and happy life. He raised two young girls as a single father, was a lover of gardening, fishing, and was an avid Red Sox fan. He was clean and sober for over 40 years and a pillar in the local AA community and around New England. He was a caretaker for many years and was fun-loving, caring and kind. He was known to bring laughter and joy to all who met him.

He is pre-deceased by his wife Geraldine Stewart-Coy. He is survived by his sister Marilyn Carpenter, his brother Douglas Coy, his daughters Heather Butler, Holly Jackson, Stephenie Milbury and Shawna Milbury, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
