Eugene Kline Obituary
NORTH LEWISBURG – Eugene "Gene" Bruce Kline, 91, passed away on Dec. 1, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Ohio.
Gene was born on April 16, 1934 in Mingo, Ohio, to Richard Kline and Mildred P. (Stephan) Nawman.
He was a 1953 graduate of Central High School in Columbus. Gene then continued his education at The Ohio State University, where he met the love of his life, June (Drake) Kline. The two were married on April 29, 1956 and shared a lifetime of devotion together.
Gene could fix just about anything he put his hands on and loved spending time outdoors. He was a dedicated supervisor at Siemens, where he worked for 55 years.
He was a proud Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. Gene and June also shared a love for Elvis Presley and made treasured annual family trips to Graceland.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Kim (Rod) Watkins; son, Kenny (Tami) Kline; grandchildren, Clint (Jess) Watkins, Shawna (Ben) Bodie, Jason (Andrea) Keller, and Jordan (Julie) Keller; and great-grandchildren, Ellie June, Easton, Henley, Lahna, Llewyn, Langston, Lyle, Lexi (Issac), Aly (Josh), Aiden, Hudson, and Eli.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife June Kline and son, Doug Kline.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Lewisburg Bicentennial, 60 E. Maple Street, North Lewisburg Ohio, 43060.
Services are entrusted to FRESHWATER, MCDONALD, VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, Ohio.
