He was a year ahead of me in school, but I spent a great deal of time at his home with him and his brothers Melvin and Richard. Jack was a quiet, unassuming, good man. Mostly a loner he still had a bunch of friends. His presence is missed.

My heartfelt sympathies to Jack's brothers and extended family. I spent many a play day at the DeLong home in the 1950s. He had a great sense of humor and a captivating smile. I am sure he will be missed by his family and friends.
