URBANA - Jane (Logsdon Reibold) Dunlavy, 88 of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025 in Urbana Health and Rehab.
Jane was born on Sept. 12, 1937 in Urbana, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Jane (Huffman) Logsdon. Jane was raised by Edna and John Reibold.
Jane graduated from Catholic Central High School. She married James Edward Dunlavy on Feb. 23, 1957. She retired from Honeywell (Grimes) as an assembler after 30 years of service. She loved traveling all across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky with her husband. She adored pigs and was always looking for a new addition to her collection.
A mother to many, Jane never turned away a stranger and was always willing to offer a helping hand and home. Most of all, however, she loved spending time with her family.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Deborah Gibbs and Sharon Dunlavy; son, Michael (Juanitta) Dunlavy; grandchildren, Michael S. Dunlavy, Ryan Dunlavy, Chase Williams, Angelia Dunlavy, Laura Dunlavy, Robert Casto II, Amanda Bos, Brittany Bos; and brother, Joe Logsdon.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dunlavy; her parents, Edna and John Reibold; brother, John Logsdon and Jack London; sister, Karenia London and her son, David Dunlavy.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025 in VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
Funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home with Father Kevin LeMelle officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery.
