URBANA - Kathleen Ann Breckenridge, 94, of Urbana, died, August 4, 2021 surrounded by her 4 children.
She was born on February 16, 1927, in East Palestine, Ohio, the 7th daughter of Carmel H. And Sara (May) Kerchgesner.
She married her husband Milton J. Breckenridge on November 16, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1995.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church since 1960. She volunteered for many years at Mercy Memorial Hospital. She was an avid golfer until the age of 78.
She is survived by her 4 children, Christine (Ron)Martin of Evans, GA, Sally(Larry) Kyte, Urbana, Michael Breckenridge of Baton Rouge, LA, and Kathy Breckenridge, Urbana; 7 grandchildren, Heather Kyte, Cassandra Hartke, RC Martin, Christopher Artis, Kellen Van Horn, Mary Katherine Breckenridge, and Jack Breckenridge; 7 great-grandchildren, Alex Hartke, Caleb Hartke, Flynn, Eli, & Shirley Van Horn, Robinson Artis, and Adeline Claire Breckenridge; one brother-in-law & sister-in-law Art (Sally) Breckenridge, Fort Meyers, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters, and daughter-in-law, Martha Breckenridge.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 in St. Teresa Church, Springfield, Ohio with Father Gearhart as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Association of Champaign County, CACC, P.O. Box 38125, Urbana, Ohio 43078 or to St. Bernard Catholic Church, 910 Lagonda Ave., Springfield, Ohio 45503.
