URBANA – Lucas James Sidders, 45, Urbana, Ohio passed away on Nov. 25, 2023, in his childhood home surrounded by his family.
He was born on Sept. 10, 1978, in Springfield, Ohio to his parents, Tommy and Jane Sidders. Lucas was a fun-loving guy, he loved anything fast on wheels. He spent his life trucking across the country; he was an animal lover and got to see many sights while traveling. The loves of his life were his children, Lane and Ellee. His favorite pastime was to be with them.
Lucas is survived by his children, Lane and Ellee Sidders; mother, Jane Sidders; sister, Emily (Todd) Shreve, and nephews, Caleb and Hayden Shreve; as well as many other beloved family members.
He is preceded in death by his father, Tommy Sidders, as well as many beloved family members.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, in VERNON FUNERAL HOME Urbana, Ohio.
A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Burley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lucas' name to Mercy Community Hospice of Springfield, Ohio, 1830 North Limestone Street, Springfield, Ohio 45503.
