URBANA – Rita K. Kendall, 67, of Urbana, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Allen View Health Care Center, Springfield.
Rita was born on May 26, 1955 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Walter "Bo" and Della "Jane" (Ater) Cottrill. She enjoyed yard sales and watching her favorite TV shows including Friends. She loved her animals dearly, 5 cats and 1 dog, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon (Cory) Crabtree, Danielle Kendall (Jeremy Sitcler); grandchildren, Brittany Sandrus (Taylor Havens), Paul Sandrus (Alyssa Hisey); brother, Dwain Cottrill; sister, Diana (Dennis) Todd; ex-husband, Danny Kendall as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Allen View Health Care Center for taking such good care of her.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held 4-6 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023 in VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vernon Funeral Home in care of the family.
