Wilma Santos Obituary
URBANA – Wilma E. Santos, age 90 of Urbana, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Mercy Health – Urbana Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 4, 1933 in Woodstock, Ohio to the late William and Leona (Chapman) Brake. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel Santos Sr., children, Sandy Santos and Stephen "Spanky" Santos as well as all of her 11 siblings.
Wilma leaves behind her children: Sam Santos, Saul Jose Santos, Susie (David Crooks) Santos; granddaughter, Megan Santos and several nieces and nephews, including her loving niece, Joyce Jean Lynch.
Wilma was a dedicated machine operator and retired from Drackett Industries after 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and sewing. Her family was her pride and joy and she will be sadly missed.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at WALTER & LEWIS Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. with her service following on Monday, June 26, 2023 beginning at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Wilma will be laid to rest at Woodstock Cemetery.
