Amy Jo Newman, 48, of San Jose, CA, entered into eternal life on December 12, 2009, at her own residence, surrounded by her family and friends. Amy fought a courageous battle of breast cancer for over ten years. AJ Newman, her professional name, had a long career as VP of Human Resources with numerous awards and accomplishments. She was the loving wife of Jimmy Marra, beloved daughter of Jim Dugan and sister of Coleen and Julie. She was predeceased by her mother, Phyllis Dugan; her loving husband of 20 years, Glen Newman; and her father and mother-in-law, Harold and Kathryn Newman. Amy is also survived by the Newman sisters, Phylis Korrie, Dawn Anderson and Joan DiGristina, who have always been there to support her in times of need; also a sister-in-law, MaryLou Mercurio. Memorial services will be held for Amy Jo at three locations across the country. On Monday, December 21, 2009, at Historic Old St. John's Church, Utica, NY, at 10 AM. Also, St. Joseph's Cathedral Basilica, San Jose, CA, and Webb-Shinke, Clearwater, KS.
