New Hartford
Anita (Feldman) Davidson, 89, widow of Eugene, passed away on November 18, 2009, at Siegenthaler Center, New Hartford, after a long illness. A native of Brooklyn, she was born on October 24, 1920, a daughter of Joseph and Betty Feldman. She grew up in New York City and was united in marriage with Eugene S. Davidson in Brooklyn on May 24, 1942. The couple moved to New Hartford in 1990. Mr. Davidson, a retired Electrical Engineer, died on March 11, 1997. Anita is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lindsey R. Simon and her husband, Dr. Geoffrey Simon, New Hartford, and Amy N. MacLean, Trabuco Canyon, CA; two grandsons, Jamie Simon and his wife, Gael, Philadelphia, PA, and Ian MacLean; a great-granddaughter, Samantha Gene Simon; and a great-grandson, Joel Elias Simon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday, November 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Siegenthaler Center at Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford, New York 13413. Arrangements in care of Trainor Funeral Home, Inc., Boonville, NY.

So sorry for Anita's passing, Jeff, Lindsey and the rest of your family. Anita was quite proud of being "a Manhattan girl", as she put it anad one terrific laugh. Will miss her, but, I'm sure, not as much as you will.
