Just wanted you to know that I think about you. At the lake, when the snow falls... When someone makes me laugh out loud. Miss you Hud.

Hud - I met someone who knew you today. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't stop a minute and think about how much I miss you. A

October 5, 2015

How ironic that the one thing we'd talk about were snowmobiles starting in 7th grade homeroom. Dan was a devout Ski Doo Silver Bullet owner and would like to make fun of my Scorpion in good fun. That followed us all the way through high school even when I upgraded. He was a very accomplished rider even then. It saddens me to hear of his passing and He will be loved and missed to the very end.

Miss you every day. I ski many a day at Whiteface by myself but I know you are watching with a smile. Six inches of snow today, on the slopes tomorrow. Just like we did 32 years ago.

An unbelievable loss. My Mom, Barbara Munde, quoted to me today that Dan would do anything for anyone, a great man, and will truly be missed, especially at St. Steven's church. Danny made sure everyone had a good time at our 30th high school reunion back in November of 2008, always with a smile and a story. I am so sorry to hear that he is gone. Prayers to the Hubble family and friends.

My sympathies go out to Susan and the kids. For 10 years, Dan has been more of a friend than a customer. He was a dedicated professional and family man with a zest for life rarely seen in this day and age. You could live twice as long and not cover half of the ground that he did. We strive to follow his example.

On behalf of Sliski Service Company, I would like to extent my heart felt sorrow at the passing of Dan. I personally have know Dan for many years. Dan was an extremely smart and fair bussiness man. I always felt at ease when I dealt with him. He was one of those people that you could not help but like.
In all the years that we have done business together, I never heard anyone say a bad thing about Dan. O.W. Hubble has allways been a place that you wanted to do work for, not needed to do work for.
As with any tragedy like this, words can only begin to soften the shock the family goes through.
We have all lost a good Man.

I've known Danny since the Higby Road School Days, voted for him as our HS Class President and always admired his ambition, leadership and love for people and life itself. He pulled his class together through planning parties, reunions or even just a funny story he would tell us about our classmates if we saw him on the street. When I heard the news, the world just stopped in place-disbelief, confusion, sadness. 51 years young-gone too soon, but not forgotten. Like many others in his class, I don't live closeby so I won't be able to be there on Wednesday, but will be there in spirit. Peace to all who knew and loved Danny-
