Darlene Christensen Storey, 67, of Root St., passed away, with her loved ones by her side, on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, and is now at peace. She was born in Rome, N.Y., on August 18, 1943, daughter of the late James and Grace Fusch Christensen. She was a graduate of Westmoreland Central School. With her love for nature, Darlene was happiest in her flower gardens. She had great passion for all animals and, most of all, enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. She is survived by her special and longtime companion, Harold Terrill, of New Hartford, who was always at her side; daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and John Dodge, of Frankfort; two sons, Todd Storey and his wife, Anne Marie, of Frankfort, and Kevin Storey and his fiance, Linda Kimberly, of Waterville; five grandchildren, Jana, Todd, Jr., and Jacob Storey and John Brayden and Taylor Grace Dodge; her sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Mike DeBella, of Westmoreland; her brother and sister-in-law, James and Diane Christensen, of Belgrade, ME; her uncle, Theodore Fusch, of AR; and many nieces and nephews. Time has taken me from you, although not very far. I'll be watching through the sunshine and through the brightest star. I'll be watching all of you, from the heavens up above. So take good care of each other, and carry all my love. Private services will be held for the family with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Oriskany Falls. There will be no public services.
