I was also one of Mr. Cards students and he was one of the best I had. Though I only had him for one year, he always remembered my name, even when I ran into him from time-to-time years after high school. My condolences to the Card family.

I always remembered how great Mr. Card was from my Social Studies class. He was one of my best teachers. Later, my son also had Mr. Card and he too liked him as well. He will be remembered as one of the greatest teachers at VVS.

I did not know Ed Card, but I certainly knew his brother Bill and sister Alice and their families from my years at Blessed Sacrament in Eastwood and with the Knights of Columbus. He is in my prayers.

Mr. Card was one of the few teachers that was really dedicated to teaching, he was a teacher that my whole family had from my Mom to me. He will be missed although not sure I would ever understand Guns vs Butter but I know he really tried to get me to understand it. Send prayers and good thoughts to his family.

Mr Card was one of my favorite teachers at VVS back in the 80's he fostered my love of history. But my fondest memories come from the years he spent traveling and inspireing the Eagles Drum and Bugle Corps in support of his daughter Mary. He was an amazing man. May he rest in peace.
