Frank (Jake) and Francine,
So sorry to learn of the passing of your mother and father. I have been trying to locate Jake for a long time in hopes I could stop by the old homestead and visit all of you. Your family really took good care of me when I was in Utica and Syracuse - like when Francine provided for me after Phil Taurisano's wedding. I had many wonderful meals with your family at the picnic table in the kitchen. I still have the pastie tins your mother bought for me and her recipe for cassata. I fondly remember when Jake used to visit me in Syracuse. Does Francine still have her Opel? I think she bought it before she got her driver's license. I sure do miss all of you.
Please know that your family is always in my heart and forever in my prayers. God bless all of you.
