I, too, was one of Dr. Echtermann's UC students in the early 80's. He was one of the best teacher's I had ever had, and I will always fondly remember his "One Way - My Way" necktie. Rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Echterman, Dieter, Heidi and Hanni......I am very sorry for your loss. I am sure Margaret is keeping him well. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Please accept my sincerest sympathies. I had the privilege of being taught by Dr. Echtermann from 1977-1980 at Utica College of Syracuse University. He was the best teacher I ever had and was an even better person. He will be very missed.
