James S. Grubner, age 31, of Fernandina Beach, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 4, 2014. Born in Herkimer, N.Y., he was an avid photographer, musician and animal lover with an expert level knowledge of herpetology and a passion of classical music. He leaves behind his mother and father, Georgianne and John Grubner, of Fernandina Beach, FL; his brother, John Grubner, III, and his wife, Natalia Grubner, of Austin, TX, and his sister, Jacquelyn Grubner, of Philadelphia, PA; his grandfather, Sam Servello and his wife, Rose Servello, of Frankfort, NY, Paula and David Fritschi, of Middleville, NY, Peggy Cool, of East Herkimer, NY, Pat Murphy, of Johnson City, Tennessee, Roseanne Weisser, of Herkimer, NY, Denise and Mark Knox, of Clarks Summit, PA, and Sam Servello, Jr., of New York, NY; very special family friends, Roseanne and Tony Sift, of Fernandina Beach, FL; as well as three nephews and many loving cousins.
