Joseph Barone Obituary
UTICA - Mr. Joseph J. "Joe Beans" Barone, 81, of Utica, entered into rest Saturday, December 3, 2016.
Joe was born in Utica, son of the late Anthony and (Margaret Longo) Barone, and was educated locally and was a T.R. Proctor High School graduate.
He served in the United States Army, from 1953-1955, and was honorably discharged.
On October 14, 1961, Joe married the former Loretta DiFiore, a blessed union of 55 years filled with love and devotion.
Joe was the longtime owner of Pasquale's Pizza until his retirement in 1999.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Barone; two sons, Anthony Barone and Joseph P. Barone and his wife, Mary; his beloved granddaughter, Tori Barone; and his sister-in-law, Jennie Di Fiore; also surviving are many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Rosina Barone; brothers-in-law, Rosario DiFiore and Albert DiFiore; sister-in-law, Santina DiFiore; and many of his lifelong friends.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joe's Celebration of Life, which will be held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are under the guidance of the John L. Matt Funeral Home, Chadwicks, NY.
