Martha G. Rugg
Vernon
Martha G. Rugg, age 77, of State Rt. 31, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, July 3, 2009, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Surviving are her beloved husband, Burton; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Paul Pry, of Bridgeport, Catherine and Robert Brunelle, of Vernon, and Anne and Ronald Aletti, of Vernon; one son and daughter-in-law, Royce and Tena Rugg, of Oneida; grandchildren, Valerie and Christopher Smith, of Sylvan Beach, Victoria and Christopher Palie, of Mont Vernon, NH, Amy Aletti, of Oneonta, Ronald Aletti, Jr., of Vernon, Kaylee Rugg and Allison Brunelle; and one great-grandson, Morgan Smith. Martha also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Rachel Rugg, and a brother, Robert Ginter. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 5, 2009, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home, Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Vernon. Burial will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery, Oneida.

My condolences go out to you at this time. I met Martha once at Victoria's wedding and she was a sweetheart. She is no longer suffering and is at peace. My prayers go out to you all. God Bless. Barbara Palie
