The Berg Family, I am so sorry to learn of Norm's passing. He and my husband , Leo, work together for years. I remember him leaving Ohio on Friday night to go home to see the babies, come back Mon to work. He and Leo had many stories to tell. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

As a young girl I learned that Mr. Norm's presence was "larger than life." His laugh, his smile, his gentle patience and ....cool hair! Sitting by the fire in the living room and waiting to be sent out, so the adults could have their "time"...was interrupted by Mr. Norm's genrosity in teaching me to play backgammon and letting me eat pepperoni and cheese! His warm and genuine interest in me as a small child, not just a way of appeasing me.... for later dispatch to another room, but as if I did matter.
Natalie, Justin, Christopher and Nikol - we have been family for more than 40 years and we feel this loss in such deep ways. May peace, love and beautiful memories embrace you in the days to come.
My family - Andre, Alivia, Alandra, Alasia and Andre, Jr. Send our love and condolences. The Family Camp Weekend will go down in history!

Dear Natalie and Family,
Joe and I were truly saddened to hear of the passing of Norm, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. We always had a lot of fun when we all got together and I can still hear Norm's big laugh whenever something funny was done or said, I'm sure he is up there already getting a game of pitch going. He will be missed by many, God bless each of you in this time of sadness.
With much love,
Joe and Mary Bateman

His smile shined brighter than a hot sunny day; his laughter was a warm blanket on a cold winter day. He could be stubborn as an ox and soft as a teddy bear. He was a man of conviction but willing to hear you out. He lived life to the fullest, his way, under his terms. He was a man not without faults, but with a heart that expanded the width of the sky. He loved. He loved his friends. He loved his sons. He loved his daughter. He loved his granddaughters. He loved his wife. The love of his life. With all that he was, with all that he had, with all of his heart. I am sad today and my heart is heavy for I know not only his family is filled with sorrow and grief, so too are his friends. I find comfort not only knowing Norm is in a better place, without pain, but that his spirit will live on forever in my heart, in the hearts of his family and in the hearts of all those he touched.
As the tears keep streaming down my face, I feel a bit of a giggle building up inside of me because I'm quite certain, somewhere up above, Norm just bid on a bare jack and is about to make four. I love you Norm Berg and will miss you greatly.

Dear Chris, Justin and Mrs. Berg and family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I met Norm along time ago traveling on the road for work and always loved running into him, every time we'd have a good laugh about something. He was great example of someone who truly enjoyed life and family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Sincerely, Paul Cahill

I fell in love with Norm and his family 28 years ago. I grew up without a Father in my life and though he had 3 young children (Triplets, no less) and I was ten years older than his children he always treated me with kindness, respect and love. Norm and Natalie's home was the house to be at, every kid wanted to be there and every kid wanted Norm as their dad. He had an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room. A true man's man but he wasn't afraid to show his softer caring side. We'll all miss those big bear hugs and his stories that never seemed to end, they just kept on going and going and going like the Energizer Bunny. I wish there was more time for some of those stories now Norm. He was a man that worked hard his whole life, lived it to the fullest and above all loved his beautiful wife Nat, his boys Justin and Chris and his little girl Nikol and his grandchildren.
You lived every man's dream, you did it Normmie !
