To the family: You all know that Ronnie was like a brother to me. Growing up together, I enjoyed talking to him on the porch just about stuff. As we grew older, I got to know the kind hearted Ronnie that not too many knew. He was a blessing to our family when my mom was ill and I will never forget how he helped her and checked up on her. Though I moved away and we didn't talk until I went home to visit, he was always a great friend to me. I will miss him terribly.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Ronny at Proctor. Ronny was a good friend of mine. We liked talking about the muscle cars. He had a great Mustang that he loved. I will miss him.

Our friendship began in the 60's at Proctor. Having lived on Mary Street at the time, I remember his regular visits to relatives on the 900 Block of Mary Street. Moving on to the 70's, Ron loved the Disco scene and his "cool" Red Corvette Coupe. He always had one eye on the dance floor and the other on the Corvette parked outside. May God Bless you with his love forever Ron. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of passing of one of my oldest and best friends. We were very close as kids, hangin out and going to dances. But we were separated by about 40yrs of life and hundreds of miles. I did at last have the pleasure of seeing him last year and it was joyful but too brief. I will always remember him in so may ways: sharp dresser, cool dancer, best with the ladies, top vette guy -- but most of all, as my best buddy. My deepest sympathy to Barb, Nick, Ron jr., and rest of the family.
