Sally Kessler Obituary
RICHFIELD SPRINGS, NY - Sally Lou (Goodale) Kessler, age 83, of Richfield Springs, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY of COVID-19.
Sally was born on October 9, 1937, daughter of Ward and Winifred (Murdock) Goodale. She graduated from Richfield Springs Central School.
Sally worked as a transportation driver for Holland Patent Central School district for over 30 years. After her retirement, she continued to drive part-time for Poland Central School and Birnie Bus Service until her mid 70's.
Sally was an avid bowler, bingo player and excellent seamstress.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Debbie Krupa Bongiorno, of Mohawk, NY, Bianca Kessler and her fiancé, Mike Gabera, of Richfield Springs, Scott Kessler and his partner, Tammy Zehr, of Largo, FL, Cody (Doug) Truex, of Mooresville, NC and Ward (Deborah) Kessler, of Poland, NY; five grandchildren, Bryan (Shauna) Kessler, Casey Green and his partner, Nichole, Heather Green and her partner, Brett, Evan Truex, Brianna (Corey) Foster, Adam Kessler and his fiancé, Faith Randall; nine great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Butch Garnsey; brother and sister- in-law, Greg and Denise Goodale; in addition to many special nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Terry Goodale and Ward Goodale; nephew, Michael Goodale; and a sister-in-law, Rose Goodale.
There will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will take place in the spring at a date and time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 110 Lomond Court, Utica, NY 13502.

I knew Sally from her driving the bus, for maybe Prospect Playground? But. I knew her son Ward. So sorry to hear of her passing.
