Brian Pressey Obituary
At a young age, California became his home. He attended the local public schools. He confessed his faith in Christ and joined Lilly of the Valley Church, in California.
He is survived by his father, Robert James; his brother, Victor Pressey;
his aunts, Veola Minns, Daisy Pressey, Virginia Pressey and Shirleen Maybeny; his uncle, Sherman Pressey; his Godmother, Mary Taliferro; his stepfather, Willie Darden; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, in Whiting's
Chapel with the Rev. Ronald A. Ellis and Bishop David Saunders officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home by 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. The family will receive friends for a repast in Union Baptist Church, 108 Alice Street, Williamsburg, following the service for Mr. Pressey. Professional service entrusted to the staff of Whiting's Funeral Home, 7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, 757-229-3011. Online condolences may be registered at www.vagazette.com.
