10 months have gone by and it seems like I miss you more and more. There are so many times I want to hear you voice, your advice, your touch. You just loved and understood me in a way that can never be replicated.

My deepest condolences to Amber and family as well as Chris family. Although I only spoke to Chris a couple of times I wish I could have talked more. I knew and heard much about him through the family news. I prayed for Chris every day during his long illness and I admired his courage during his long battle. I was in awe that he was able to stay happy and smile through it all! That just told me that he was Blessed. Gods comfort and healing now to his loving family and friends. RIP Chris you were the true meaning of an Iron Man! Peace

Having gone to grade school with Tommy, I only knew Chris way back then as his (much) older brother who we looked up to and who we thought was sooo cool. I wish the wonderful Martens family strength in this difficult time, not only in your grief but also in your celebration of Chris's life. The Trinity family spans oceans and continents, which enables me to send you my blessings and my hugs all the way from Bavaria.

May the Lord God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ - the God of all compassion - comfort you in this time of sorrow and trouble. For He is close to the brokenhearted and holds those that mourn is His strong Hand of mercy and grace. We have witnessed the testimony of faith Chris's parents - mother, Sylvia, and Father Ernie who has gone to glory - have shown. What a blessing this family has been to so many. We continue to pray that the hope Chris had in the risen Lord with be a comfort and hope to all of you. With love and prayers, Jim and Carlyn Roth

Chris impacted my life in so many ways. His loving, calming nature allowed me to always feel safe and just be who I AM without any judgement. His powerful zest for life allowed me to redefine the word "living" and reinforce "Life is Beautiful" in every moment, if you choose it. Chris enriched all our lives forever with his innate gifts, his courage, his strength, his trust and his love as he transcended in total Grace.

Chris was my supervisor off/on for 10 years. Of the many I've had over my 49 year career he was one of the top 3. His door was always open, there were never any secrets and he was a warm, welcoming individual. He through his challenges with a smile on his face and in his heart accepting life as it was. He will be sorely missed as a friend and confidant.
