I am the other fellow who served with Trigg at St. Louis Childrens (Washington University) completing the pediatric endocrine fellowship in 1980. Whereas he went on to radiology, I went on into adult endocrinology. I lost contact with Trigg after he went to Vacaville in California. I'm sorry I did. He was always a good companion and we not only enjoyed our academic and clinical stint together, we had social moments with our families. He was especially fond of my 3 year-old daughter, Zoe, and would play with her when he came over to our home. I recall that once he brought over his nephew of a similar age to be with her. I read the obituary and it described his grace as a human being perfectly. He exists in the memory of those who knew him and he will be missed.
