Eleonore "Lori" Ineson

1935 - 2018

Mrs. Eleonore "Lori" (Grassl) Ineson, born on March 25, 1935 in White Plains, New York, to the late Olga Grassl and the late Maximilian Grassl, passed away at age 83 on July 7, 2018 in Williamsburg, Virginia. She graduated from White Plains High in 1953 and Cornell University in 1957. After college she was a writer at McCall's magazine. Lori was married to, and is survived by, her husband of 60 years, John Ineson. She was preceded in death by her son, Peter Ineson (Dianna Lowande-Ineson). Lori is survived by her daughter, Erika Ineson (Harriet Barovick) and her two children, Maximilian Barovick and Jakob Barovick, of New York; as well as her son Peter's children, Noah Ineson and Caleb Ineson of Atlanta. Lori enjoyed painting, especially with watercolor; golf; and reading and was a member of Chi Omega. Her family will be forever grateful for the compassionate care she received at The Williamsburg Landing. Donations in her name to the Southeastern Virginia Chapter--Alzheimer's Association are welcome and appreciated. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service on Wednesday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 1333 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg, Virginia, 23185.
