You will be missed.
Came across your name reminiscing about Williamsburg. You built a home for us in 1970 in Kingspoint that still looks as good today as when you finished it. We live in Florida now but we´re traveling in that area and drove by to see how it looked,

A beautiful obituary which described the Jim I knew. As a realtor I always added Jim´s name as a feature when listing a house he built. Joyce May God comfort and keep your beautiful family through this deep valley. Love and prayers.

Dear Joyce and Vanessa,
I was so saddened to hear of Jim passing away . He had such an impact on the life of myself and my husband Tom, when he built out dream home in Kingsmill for us in 1986. He was so professional and caring as we were building it from Little Rock , Ark. and he and I worked closely on detail to follow the Colonial 18 th century style I loved. He made our dream come true as we walked in with happiness on its completion and always had a smile and caring way for us in detail and fairness. I was so proud he had a photograph of our house on Fairfax Way hanging in his office as his favorite 6 homes he built here. I loved that photograph and he let me take a picture of he and I beside that photograph a few years ago after I lost the "love of my life" . My memories of Jim will always be dear to my heart and I send you both my sympathy in his passing. God was surely good to us to share our lives with such men of character. God bless and comfort you.
Yours truly, Marie Bond

It was with great sadness that I read Jim had passed away. At the same time, it was pure joy to read the beautiful obituary which was a special and loving tribute from his family. Jim built our first home in Denbigh, and later, our second home in Williamsburg. How lucky we were to have such a talented professional in our lives. Ironically, the last time I saw Jim was when he and Joyce attended the funeral of my husband in 2015. That meant a lot to me. May you rest in peace, Jim, knowing you have brought happiness to so many people.
