Jeffery Keene Obituary

Jeffery Randall "Randy" Keene died Nov. 24, 2011, from injuries sustained in a tractor accident at his home. He was 57 years old.
Anyone who knew Mr. Keene knew his love of God, family and friends. He couldn't resist a good game of basketball and had a passion for collecting comic books and toys for his "man cave." It was difficult to be anything but upbeat in his presence. We will miss his incredible sense of humor.
Preceding him in death were his biological father, Harry Lee Keene; son, Phillip; grandparents, Harrison and Maude Keene, Alden and Gladys Rowe; brother, Scott Hale; and his cousin, Penny Baldwin, whom he considered as a sister.
Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Carol Fifer; mother, Gerri Hale; son, Randall Keene II; daughter, Jessica Keene; grandchildren, John, Lynne, Kissa and Kevin; father, Charles Hale (Barb); brother, Gerald Hale; stepsister, Sheila Miller; and an extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and Shawn and Shane Bagby.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, with burial following in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Pastor Randy Garner will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Community Church, 9001 Richmond Rd. West, Toano VA 23168.
Tributes may be posted at www.vincentfh.com or www.vagazette.com.

Dear Gerri, I can't tell you how sad I am to hear of Randy's passing. My heart breaks for you, there is no greater loss than that of a child, even one who is grown. Hold your memories close and know that many people are keeping you in their hearts and prayers. Janice
