Jennifer R. Morris

Jennifer Roudabush Morris, 62, of Williamsburg, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Jennifer attended Menchville High School and excelled in music and voice. She also attended William & Mary under the instruction of Frances Breeze-mentor and friend. She took delight in singing at church, weddings, and many social events. Always interested in many learning experiences, she became a ballroom dance instructor traveling with her students to many places. Her favorite destination was Maui where she always said she left a piece of her heart. She became a certified real estate agent where she not only helped clients find their home, but many of her friends and family members. Next, she opened a tanning and nail salon called "Tanning Sunsations" where she enjoyed meeting and getting to know hundreds of people-some of which became lifelong friends. After taking a break from her business to raise and take delight in her two children, she studied photography and videography. She opened her business, Treasured Montage, when her daughter (Lauren) was in preschool and her son (Brennan) was in middle school-creating mini movies to capture special school events. This evolved into countless videos set to music for graduations, family reunions, remembrances of loved ones, birthdays, and retirement celebrations. Her varied talents brightened our world! Jennifer always added a story to any conversation whether it be with a family member, friend, or a stranger. Her stories would leave everyone with insight and especially a laugh…she loved to laugh! She is survived by her parents Jane Miller Roudabush and Joe Fenton Roudabush Sr.; her husband of 26 years, Elgin C. Morris III; her two beloved children, Michael Brennan Testa of San Diego, CA and Lauren Jean Morris of Richmond, VA; her four brothers, Joe Fenton (Joey) Roudabush Jr. (Joyce) of Villamont, VA, Mark Jerome (Jerry) Roudabush (Sherry) of Hardy, VA, Jeffery Stuart Roudabush of Roanoke, Jamison Lane (Jamie) Roudabush (Annette) of Minneapolis, MN; her nieces and nephews; Emily, Joey (III), Amy, Julie, Jessie, Allison, Ryley, and Maison; as well as eight great nieces and nephews and the many nonbiological children she called her own. She is preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Jean and Pete Morris of Williamsburg, VA, and her wonderful basset hound, Fogarty Morris. Jennifer's blue eyes, kind smile, selfless help for others, animated storytelling, and laughter will never be forgotten. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 2nd, 2021, at 11am at Williamsburg United Methodist Church (500 Jamestown Road) with a reception immediately following. A private memorial service will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
