Josephine Mann

POQUOSON - Josephine "Jo" Mann, 92, a native of Elizabeth City, NC, and Williamsburg resident the past 70 years, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. She worked for what is now SunTrust Bank for many years, and then went on to retire in 1993 from the James City Health Dept. after nine years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Jo was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold, Beulah, Joe, Cecil, Alice, Elizabeth, Raymond, Allen, Patsy, Nancy, and Estelle. She is survived by her son, Paul V. Mann Jr. from Salem, Oregon; grandchildren, Carrie Rodgers and husband Chris of Poquoson, Cody Mann and wife Charity of Clatskanie, Oregon, and Casey Mann of Salem, Oregon; five great-grandchildren, Helena, Becky, Elizabeth, Emily, and Alex; and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 28, 12-1:00 PM, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson, immediately followed by a Celebration of Jo's life at 1:00 PM, led by Rev. Charles R. Stacy. A reception will follow at the J.O.U.A.M. Lodge, 10 Lodge Road, Poquoson. Burial will be private.
