Kevin Ballard Obituary
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and football, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He also enjoyed helping his friends with projects and doing custom carpentry work.
Mr. Ballard loved spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed taking his son, Dalton, to tae-kwon-do. The one thing he wanted more than anything was to take care of his family, and his greatest joy in life came from making sure everyone he cared about was happy. His family and friends will remember him for his dimpled smile, quick wit, and contagious laughter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lissa; his stepsons, Reaves C. Lane and Taylor B. Lane, both of Williamsburg; his son, Dalton A. Ballard; three brothers; and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at Hickory Neck Episcopal Church, 8300 Richmond Rd., Toano.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a college fund for his son, Dalton, through Chesapeake Bank under the Kevin Ballard Memorial Fund; or through Bank of America under the name of Elizabeth Ballard and Dalton Ballard.

Lissa, I am so very sorry. I just found out about this. Lil Ronnie just called to let me know. I can't thank you enough for the positive roll you and Kevin played in Ronnie's life with Boy Scouts. I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to your entire family.
