She loved animals and watching the birds from her lanai. Other hobbies included playing golf, bridge and other card games, cooking, reading, listening to music, and socializing.
She was born in Cartersville, Ga., and moved to Atlanta, Ga.; Richmond, Vir.; Pierre, S.D.; and finally, The Villages, Fla in 2001.
She is survived by her husband, former Shenandoah resident, Dennis, of 43 years; daughter, Denyse, of Fruitland Park, Fla.; sister, Mary Bob Wills, of Marietta, Ga,; sister, Lois Ferguson, of Cartersville, Ga.; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her son, Douglas, died on 9/11/2001 in the WTC attack.
It was Bobbie's desire that no services be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society or the American Lung Association
